It is good to know that Latin American photojournalism is getting better by the day and it is a joy that new talents come up every single year.
This prize is for the girls that allowed me to follow their life's and tell their stories, and the struggle and achievements they face.
Awards are usually overvalued, but on a profession like photojournalism that we spend a big part of our life in solitude and sometimes clueless, it is good to be recognized by our pairs and understand that you are somehow on the right path.
